Fountain "Zerkalnaya Struya" (“Mirror Stream” in eng.) - one of the"visiting cards"of the city. The fountain was built in 1947 in honor of the Soviet people's victory in the Great Patriotic War. It is on the street opposite the Opera House Sumy. Summer at the foot of this facility from the pool water pours smooth, broad band, which gave him this name. At night, lighting changes color every few seconds and it seems that he poured all the colors of the rainbow.

It is adjacent to a small but very picturesque park, where a pleasant stroll or just sit on the bench, an appointment or business meeting.

Few of Kharkiv citizens knows that beauty and pride of the city Fountain "Zerkalnaya Struya" - not only of its kind. It was built by the same type of fountain in Kislovodsk. However, "Zerkalnaya Struya" remains one of the most remarkable architectural monuments in Kharkiv, and is listed in Encyclopaedia of UNESCO.
