Integrated transport system of the host Euro-2012 city of Kharkiv will be created and put into operation in April 2012.

According to the director of the Department of Transport and Communications Sergey Dulfan, the prototype of the future system can already be seen in action on the example of enterprise "Kharkiv underground", which employs a single control center and a system of electronic fare payment. The extension of these mechanisms to fly passenger transport, and combining them into a system will give the city an efficient management of transport and passengers - maximum comfort and convenience.

Sergei Dulfan said that before the end of this year will be fully completed by the hardware portion of the program and will begin its trial run. Then the program will be run-in general, and for Euro-2012 it will be fully put into operation.

Director of the Department of Transport and Communication of the City Council noted that the development and adaptation of software to implement an integrated transport system operate domestic programmers and high-tech equipment bought abroad.
