President of FC Shakhtar Donetsk Rinat Akhmetov believes that Ukraine has the right to host the European football championship in 2012 in a fair fight.

"Ukraine does not deserve to have it taken away matches. If someone says something, it must prove in court. That is, at least, will be a trial, and the decision that he will make, we must respect. I am sure that all Ukrainians deserve for Euro 2012 was at a very high level, at the best European standards", - said Akhmetov, who was quoted by the official site of FC Shakhtar Donetsk.

Earlier, the German newspaper "Sueddeutsche Zeitung" published an article in which C. Marangos stated that five members of the UEFA executive committee received from Ukraine and Poland a bribe of 11 million euros.

UEFA immediately responded to these allegations as baseless. October 27 representatives of UEFA announced that trigger the consideration of the case with respect to S. Marangos.

The next day, S. Marangos in an interview with Italian media said he was willing to provide evidence of bribery of the four UEFA officials. According to him, in the featured four members of the League. One of them received 3.15 million euros, three - to 2 million euros.

The same day, Minister for Sport of Italy Rocco Krim said that the Italian government decided to initiate an investigation regarding possible collusion during the vote of UEFA executive committee on which the right to host Euro-2012 was given to Ukraine and Poland.

Central Anti-Corruption Bureau of Poland interested in this information and did not exclude its own investigation, but local media named Grigory Surkis "real engine of a corruption scandal".

The FFU president himself calmly reacted to these statements: "I have long time been nothing hurts.
