Logo of Ukraine for Euro-2012 became a sunflower
November 4, 2012 Ukraine Deputy Prime Minister Boris Kolesnikov introduced a new symbol of Euro-2012 championship. It became the sunflower with the inscription "Ukraine."
Sunflower is the symbol of the fertile land of Ukraine, and a smile betraying the flower symbol of Euro-2012 image filled with hospitality and love for all guests, who are always waiting in the Ukraine.
The logo will represent Ukraine in abroad and will be displayed on various types of printed and souvenir products.
Creator of the logo was Andrei Krisenkov, designer of the international design company, which won the logo contest in Ukraine. The competition was attended by more than three hundred works. Bidders were both young, unknown company, and international recognized advertising agencies.
